Amanda Holden – Invested Development Course
Sleep well knowing your retirement is handled by building your own money-making portfolio
This is my best investing course!
It’s easy to feel intimidated by investing. To get caught up in the jargon. The very mention of Roth IRAs, mutual funds, ETFs, asset allocation, or dividends makes us want to hide beneath the covers with a plastic plate of cold Pad Thai. And we’ve all been condescended to by a pair of boat shoes and a Patagonia fleece vest at least once.
But at its core, investing is simply buying assets that will pay us over time. That’s it! Buying things that MAKE US EASY MONEY. And passively. (Which means — you make money while doing absolutely nothing.)
Yes, we will be talking about investing as a tool. But tools are for building!
Building a life that you love. So yeah, here’s what this course is really about:
Your financial independence and security.
Your ability to take chances, to say “yes” to passion projects.
The opportunity to travel and to live a generous life.
Your financial options.
Your power.
What if I told you that all of this was within your reach? Yes, learning the language of investing requires work. About a college course’s worth. But I cannot think of an investment of your time that will return bigger dividends. As for the price of the course? It will pay for itself thousands and thousands of times over. Seriously.
What if you could become totally financially confident? What if building real wealth — and investing well — is completely within your capacity? Would you take it? Because that’s what’s on the table.
And yes, you are going to have fun doing it! Best of all, you are not alone. We will be doing it together.
Invested Development is right for you if:
- You want to feel confident that you’re doing the right thing for your future
- You’re ready to figure out how to get as much money out of your employer as possible
- You’re determined to finally (finally!!) understand the difference between a Roth IRA and 401k and all other account types (hint: it’s about taxes, and we really dive in)
- You want to know how to pick an account for yourself (whether you’re currently employed or self-employed)
- You want to know how to pick the right investments
- You want a deep knowledge of the investing tools, like stocks, bonds, index funds, ETFs, mutual funds, target-date funds, and REITs. And more importantly, you want to know to apply them in your accounts
- You want to understand all of the options for investing (brokerage banks, robo-advisors, Robinhood, etc)
- You want to know how to deal with stock market crashes (and there will be many crashes)
- You want to learn who to trust and where to go for money and financial advice — and how to avoid being scammed in a notoriously scammy industry or paying too much in crappy fees
- You’re ready for your own personal investing plan
- You want to learn how to invest in a socially responsible way
- You want to have fun while learning something valuable!
- You want to learn from a teacher that has deep industry experience, unlike many of the online “finfluencers” selling courses (and peddling extremely dangerous advice)
- You want to live in a world where women have more financial power
- You want the daily calm and peace knowing that you are not without a plan. This alone is priceless
